Thomas' Basketball Season Begins!

Here's a few shots of Thomas warming up this past Saturday for his first basketball game of the season!  He had a blast and his team won 24 to 18!  GO BLACK!

Halloween-2008

Well, another year of ghouls and goblins has come and gone-phew!  The kids had a blast and we trekked all over our neighborhood and all the way up and down the Willow Road, the next street over where they hand out full size candy bars-(yes, even in a recession!)  My apologies for no photos of Thomas in costume-somehow he avoided the camera!

Join us for a trip down memory lane!!!

This summer we had an incredible dolphin adventure at Discovery Cove with Poppy and Baboo....talk about memories!

Thomas' Soccer Game

Saturday was a sports day for Thomas! He's going to be playing basketball this winter, so he had evaluations for team placement and did very well even though he's never played on a team before!

We went from there to his soccer game at his school, Guilford Lakes.  He plays for the Spurs, the gray team and they won 3-1...YEAH!

Lauren's New Duds

Lauren goes girlie!

Providence, RI

This past Saturday we visited King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA.  It was quite an experience but unfortunately do not have any shots from that day as the entire fair took place under tree cover and it was pretty dark.  On our way home we stopped in downtown Providence and walked up and down some of the beautiful city streets and also through the Brown University Campus which is just lovely.  It made me long for city life again!

More Fall!

Our New England Fall Weekend

Well, it's that time of year again here in New England and we are loving it!  We went to Lyman Orchards to pick apples and pumpkins right from the patch.  It was such an incredibly beautiful day...sunny, crisp and clear.  The views were spectacular!  We also went on a great hike on the trails just around the corner from our house.  Gabi loved being free and it seemed to bring out the puppy in her again!  Unfortunately, while exploring a giant boulder, Lauren was stung by a bee but handled it like a trooper!  The leaves are just gorgeous here and the only down side is that it means winter is not too far off!
Love to all,
L,K, T & L
